OnSite Office
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
OnSite Office is a local-first small-business organizer. This policy explains how the app handles information when it is used on a phone, tablet, or computer.
Information stored on your device
OnSite Office stores the records you enter locally on the device or browser where you use the app. This can include customer names and contact details, quotes, invoices, payments, jobs, expenses, mileage, receipt photos, job photos, and optional customer signatures.
OnSite Office does not require an account and does not operate an OnSite Office cloud service that receives or stores those records.
When information leaves your device
- Driving-distance lookups: only after you tap Calculate Driving Distance, the starting point and destination you entered are sent to OpenStreetMap-based geocoding and routing services to calculate a route. Review the result before saving it.
- Sharing, email, and text: only when you choose a share, email, or text action, the selected document or message is handed to the mail, messaging, or sharing app you choose. Those providers handle the delivery under their own terms and privacy policies.
- App files: the app may download its own code, icons, and this policy page from the hosting service when opened or updated. Your business records are not included in those app-file requests.
Backups, retention, and deletion
A backup is created only when you choose to make one. Backups are saved or shared using the location or app you select, and may contain the records and images included in your OnSite Office data.
- Deleting a record in OnSite Office removes it from the current local app data.
- Uninstalling the app, clearing browser/app storage, or restoring a different backup can remove or replace local records.
- A previously exported backup remains wherever you saved or shared it until you delete it there.
Analytics, advertising, and sale of data
OnSite Office does not include advertising, analytics tracking, or a feature that sells, rents, or automatically shares your business records with the developer or other businesses.
Security
Your data is protected by the security of the device, browser, operating system, and any storage or sharing service you choose. Use a device passcode, keep your software current, and protect exported backup files.
Privacy questions
For a privacy question or request, use the developer support email shown in the relevant App Store or Google Play listing and include the OnSite Office version shown under Help & Privacy. Do not include customer records, signatures, receipts, or other confidential business information unless it is necessary and you intentionally choose to share it.
